Our lives are transformed, revived, and restored as we read and study the Word of God. In the worship service we hear the Word of God from the pulpit. In Sunday School we read and study the Bible together side by side, discuss it, and then act upon what we learn. It is important to be a student of the Word and not just a hearer. One hour a week is not enough. Sunday School is one way to get us more in the Word.

Our Sunday School program has been growing as we are growing. As the need arises, we try to make changes to meet those needs. Up until about 3 ½ years ago we only had an Adult Sunday School class. We currently have several groups meeting on Sunday morning - an adult class at 10 am, and three children's groups (for ages 4-15) that meet during service - an older girl's group, an older boy's group, and a group for kids between 4 and 7.  It is exciting to think of where we started and where God has brought us! Currently this is what each class is studying:

  • Adult Sunday School Class at 10am: Breaking Free
(based on 2 Chronicles and Isaiah, this study is about setting us free from anything that hinders us from fully experiencing the abundant life God has for us)
  • Children’s Sunday School during 2nd half of worship service
    • Teen/Pre-teen Girls Study: James: Faith Under Pressure
    • Teen/Pre-teen Boys Study: Checkpoints: A Tactical Guide to Manhood
    • 4-7 year olds Sunday School: Building Kids Faith: Learning About God Study
    • Infants and Toddlers: Growing need
